How we measured this

The Census Bureau counts occupied homes as owned or rented by block group (table B25003). We split each block group by the share of its land in each neighborhood, then divide rented homes by occupied homes. Vacant homes aren't counted.

What would change the answer

These are five-year survey estimates. A new apartment building opened in the last few years won't be fully counted yet. This page describes housing. It doesn't say who a neighborhood is for.
