In 2018 Granular's executives invested in Momentic, a search engine optimization agency [4], and MKE DMC lists Granular as a founding sponsor of its monthly meetups for Milwaukee digital marketers [8].

Both are now on the MKE DMC board [6]. Little Milwaukee's editor, Tyler Einberger, is MKE DMC's president [6] and works at Momentic.
